Frequently Asked Questions
GroundSure Signature is a grounds care program with one flat monthly price. It includes landscape maintenance, snow removal, and irrigation troubleshooting and repairs and so much more. From your annuals to the yearly mulch refresh and monthly site walks with your dedicated Client Relationship Manager - we handle the grounds, so you don't have to worry about them.
Most contracts leave snow and irrigation repairs outside the base price. In most cases, you are still chasing quotes and approvals for enhancements like spring flowers and mulch.
GroundSure Signature builds those items in. That helps reduce surprise billing, makes budgeting easier, and saves your team time and headaches.
We also stay on top of site conditions with monthly site walks and regular site audit reports, so you do not have to.
Yes - based on the trigger depth you select. Snow removal is included in the monthly price.
Yes. Irrigation troubleshooting and repairs are included. The goal is to catch issues early and keep them from turning into bigger problems.
Yes. Proactive irrigation management is part of the offer, along with smart irrigation controller support.
A smart irrigation controller helps the system run more efficiently based on site conditions and seasonal needs. It supports better water management while enabling the team to make repairs quickly and even make remote modifications to the system.
Yes. This offer is built for communities that already care about appearance and want to keep standards high while staying on budget.
It is usually a strong fit for sites that want fewer surprise invoices, less vendor coordination, and a cleaner monthly budgeting process. GroundSure was built for sites that already invest in the exterior of their properties.
We send inspectors through the property to look for irrigation issues before plants, turf, and shrubs begin to show visible stress. That early action helps protect appearance, reduce avoidable plant loss, and support the PlantShield guarantee.
PlantShield adds protection for key landscape elements with replacement coverage for eligible plant material.
If a covered plant fails, we will replace it with a similar variety, using appropriate material for the plant type and site conditions. For trees, replacement is limited to comparable ball-and-burlap material, not mature like-for-like size.
This is all included in the GroundSure Signature program.
Consistent landscape care keeps the property looking sharp throughout the year. It covers the routine work needed to maintain curb appeal and support the standard Class A sites expect.
Everything from weekly turf care and weeding to pruning and cleanups.
Irrigation troubleshooting and repairs are included in the flat monthly price, so issues can be addressed without turning into a separate billing event. That helps the team respond faster and avoid the usual back-and-forth on repair approvals.
An enhancement credit gives you built-in flexibility for site improvements without starting from scratch every time. It makes it easier to plan and apply value where the property without having to go back to ownership for approvals. You’re already going to invest in the site, the cost should already be included in the program.
A dedicated client relationship manager gives you one consistent point of contact who knows your property and priorities. That helps decisions move faster and keeps communication more organized.
Yes! Annual flowers add seasonal color that helps the property look fresh and well-kept from mid-spring through fall. They give entry points and other key areas a more finished appearance, and we include them in the upfront price because they should be planned for, not treated like an afterthought.
Monthly site walks create a regular review of property conditions, priorities, and upcoming needs. They help keep service aligned with the site instead of waiting for issues to be reported after the fact.
A full mulch refresh gives beds a clean, uniform look and helps the property present well. It is one of the simplest ways to sharpen curb appeal quickly, and with GroundSure Signature, ongoing mulch touch-ups are already built into the flat monthly price. If wind or weather moves mulch out of place, we refresh those areas at no additional charge.
Photos and notes create a simple visual record of site conditions and completed work. They make communication easier for both on-site teams and decision-makers.
The client portal gives your team one place to make requests, view proposals and invoices, track activity, and stay connected to the work being done on site. It makes service easier to follow without relying on scattered emails or calls.
Yes! Porter services help keep the property cleaner, safer, and more presentable throughout the year. This includes servicing exterior trash cans and dog stations, so the day-to-day details stay handled consistently across the site.
Winter watering helps protect plant material during dry winter conditions and supports plant health when irrigation systems are typically inactive. It is an important part of delivering on PlantShield, helping covered trees and shrubs make it through the winter and reducing avoidable plant loss.

Rock and mulch refreshes, tree and shrub installations or replacements, and seasonal color — including spring and summer annuals and fall annuals.
Absolutely. We propose color rotations and plant selections that balance impact, maintenance, and budget.
Absolutely. For annuals we typically have a crew onsite every other week to weed, deadhead and fertilize the materials. For trees we winter water to ensure they survive the dry Colorado climate.
Sometimes. By incorporating low-maintenance plants and smart irrigation solutions, our landscaping enhancements can help reduce the time and money you spend on upkeep, all while keeping your property looking pristine.
Properly planned enhancements such as adding mulch, native plants, and trees can reduce water usage and decrease the need for chemical pesticides. This not only benefits the environment but also reduces your long-term maintenance costs.
Landscaping enhancements can improve the safety of your property by eliminating hazards and increasing visibility. Strategic placement of trees and shrubs can prevent obstructed views around corners, while clear pathways reduce the risk of slips and falls.
Probably from a lack of water. Each tree needs approximately 10 gallons of water for every caliper inch in diameter the tree trunk is. So if you just had a 2” ball and burlap tree installed, it will need 20 gallons of water every 3 weeks or so during the Winter (whenever the irrigation system is turned off – which in Colorado is typically from November through March). We only suggest watering when the ground temperature is above 40 degrees.
Not typically in Colorado. It takes 12” to 15” of snow to equal one inch of water (depending on the temperature when it snows) Your shrubs and trees will need multiple inches of water to keep them alive while they are getting established. Once they are mature enough, they will no longer need supplemental watering during the Winter months.
At least once per month: spring startup, a mid-season performance checks, and fall winterization. In Colorado the temperature rises significantly in June and July, so we turn the amount of water up during the summer months to ensure the turf does not dry out.
Startups and winterizations (blowouts), leak detection and valve/line repairs, head and nozzle replacements, controller programming and smart controller upgrades, zone balancing and pressure regulation, drip conversions, and water-use audits.

Yes. We can phase work, bundle services, and align service levels to your property’s priorities. We understand some years you will have to replace the roofs or repave the parking lot, so the budget might be tight. In those years we can provide a "mow & blow" offering with extremely limited services to just get the basic job done. In most years, clients chose a standard line up with all the standard commercial services. For clients looking for total peace of mind, we offer a total site care plan which covers all aspects of exterior lawn care and snow removal for a flat annual price.
